Armed with strong coffee and my daily planner I gather thoughts and start a to do list for the day. This morning I realized my May calendar is completely filled with multiple things each day. This is May-cember—a crazy season filled with dance recitals, graduations, celebrations, the end of sports seasons and the sweet promise of summer break. It’s a time when we find ourselves wrapped in chaos, balancing a multitude of commitments while reflecting on cherished memories. Let's explore the madness of this unique time of the year.
The Chaos of Ending the School Year
May is often a month filled with demands as parents, teachers and students juggle multiple responsibilities. Exams, projects, and final grades pile up, creating an overwhelming atmosphere in classrooms and homes everywhere. I feel for all my fellow teachers who are testing, preparing end of year reports and trying to keep the morale up in classrooms. May is the last leg of the marathon!
